Description

The listing, TWO Gorgeous Suncatchers Turquoise Blue Glass Turtles! has ended.

Winner gets BOTH of these gorgeous turquoise art glass turtles, WITH two window suction cups. Use them as suncatchers or pendants (or earrings). They each have a silver ring in their nose so you can hang them on anything!

These are about 1.5 inches each ... so kinda big as earrings but would make great pendants. These are my ONLY turquoise turtles, but please see my other listings for more turtles and other art glass.

Free US shipping too! If you need a nice chain to use this as a pendant, please check out the listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/36159

I will be listing more glass animals in the next few weeks. Please watch my upcoming listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303!

WARNING to bidders ... last weekend at least THREE bidders told me they tried to place bids in the last minute that never registered. If you want something PLEASE place your bid at LEAST five minutes before the auction end. At night, when lots of auctions are ending, Listia's servers get overwhelmed and slow down. If you want something, bid in advance PLEASE!

While I'm on a soapbox ... here's another thing to consider. Do you bid against friends? I do, and here's why:

Once you've been on Listia for a while, you make a LOT of friends! The many wonderful people on Listia is a BIG reason why I keep giving away stuff, and spending about $200 a month on shipping! When I find something I like, I don't even LOOK at who is bidding ... I just bid, and then I MIGHT look.

The problem is that if you don't bid against friends, you don't bid on a LOT of auctions. This is not fair to the sellers (and we are ALL sellers!). Sometimes I bid just to get it on my list to watch it more easily. Sometimes I bid to bump up the credits on something I think is worthwhile (particularly if the seller is a friend!). Sometimes I bid to win.

So, PLEASE bid against ME ... and PLEASE don't be upset if I bid against YOU. Bidding against friends is something of a necessary evil on Listia, and competing with friends can add to the interest and excitement of any auction!

Wait until you see the hummingbirds and doves I am listing tonight! I list a few added things most nights, but end them all on Sundays and Mondays. I'll probably have these little glass animals for the next few weeks.

Dog-gone it. I've been thinking about these guys, lol. I've got 7 stone, ceramic and pewter turtles that sit in one window and would enjoy trying for pretty colored suncatcher turtles with them, I think.

I really need to re-Listia some of the extra pretties I've won from you in the past. When you list lots big lots there's usually only a certain amount of the colors or kinds of each I want, lol. So sharing them back seems the only nice thing to do :) Besides the fact I'm getting quite a menagerie :O

You do have the best auctions though.

I thought I had saved all those photos, but now I can't find them. If you go back to the listings you might be able to copy and save the photos that were on the listings, but I don't know how good the quality would be like that. I'm still looking for them though.

I'll look, thank you. My camera might do them justice, too, if I'm lucky. Sometimes it will and sometimes it won't. My landlady is a professional photographer and I might enlist her help to get the best out of them though :)

that would be helpful. The best thing to do is set up a little space with a white backdrop and a good light, and don't use a flash. Be sure you stay far enough back that your camera can focus (on macro mode) and then just crop the photos in to get good closeups. I'm really sorry I don't have those photos any more. Oh well.

Hey, check out photos of jewelry I've been making. The photos aren't as good as I'd like, but the beads are spectacular! http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/gg146/natahoa/Jewelry/

Aw c'mon. These necklaces I made most recently were super simple, but tend to look best. They just take a lot of expensive findings. I'm ordering a BUNCH of findings including some sterling silver earring hooks, and I plan to list a bunch of them here. It might take a few weeks to get them (from China) but they should be great listings!
