Wii - Action / Adventure - Sega - Rated E
Players take to the air as a harlequin hero in this soaring action-adventure for the Wii. Nights: Journey of Dreams takes gamers back to the fantastical dream world of Nightopia, first introduced in Nights Into Dreams... for the Sega Saturn, where glowing orbs of human consciousness known as Ideyas are under assault by raiders from the neighboring land of Nightmare. Led by Wizeman, the evil ruler of Nightmare, hordes of Nightmarens invade Nightopia with plans to collect all the Ideyas of courage, purity, growth, intellect, and hope. With the goal of stabilizing the dreams of the main human characters Will and Helen, gamers use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to guide the Nightopian jester Nights as he glides and loops around the surreal skies grabbing as many Ideyas as possible.
Both Will and Helen present players with a different set of challenges, and as gamers navigate the seven unique environments they can unlock three masks that add to Nights' acrobatic and shape-shifting abilities. The dragon persona transforms Nights into a massive dragon, while the dolphin persona lets players explore the depths of the ocean, and the rocket persona gives Nights the shape and speed of a supersonic rocket. In addition to the single-player adventure, two players can go head-to-head in both a battle and race mode, or gamers can go online and challenge friends to races. Nights: Journey of Dreams makes use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, but it is also fully compatible with both the Classic Controller and GameCube controllers. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide.
