Description

The listing, SSD! PNY CS1311 120GB 2.5” SATA III Internal Solid State Drive - Like New has ended.

Want a much faster computer? This might be the ticket...I bought this in the middle of October and was using it to rehab a Mac Mini. It works great and there still is fresh install of El Capitan on the disk without any personal files or extraneous software installed. I decided to sell the Mini for parts.

The drive works fine and I'll fully guarantee it against being DOA. The drive still has 2 3/4 years left on its warranty, if PNY doesn't honor the warranty because you got this used from me, I'll give you a full refund.

Free US shipping. Offers welcome.

nice auction man.. I've been out to get an SSD for awhile, - 3.4ghz cpu, 16 gigs of ram, dedicated nvidia gpu (this is a laptop), and it all ends up getting bottleneck'd on the HDD =/ good luck with the listing

Thanks for kudos. Yeah it makes a world of difference. With a laptop however you might go with a bigger SSD since I assume it will be your only drive.

However, if your laptop has a DVD drive and you don't use DVDs that much, you can replace that with an adapter which has inside of it has a place for your HDD. You then put the OS on the SSD, and all your photos, videos and documents on your now secondary HDD which is inside the DVD-HDD adapter. The adapter cost only about $10.

I actually put my photos on my 120GB ssd too because I don't have a lot of them and I need fast access to them for making Listia and eBay posts and the HDD took to long to redraw the thumbnails...I guess games really need to be on high performing disk too.

Look for a rectangular label on the bottom of the machine. On the label should be the the company that makes the machine, like Dell, Acer, Hp, Lenovo etc, that's the "make." The model number or model # should be near or above the serial number on the label.

No it's i Vista at the Windows 7 it's packed the way

It's either Vista or Windows 7 one or the other, but that is the operating system or OS. That's software, it's not the manufacturer of the computer, which is the same as the maker or the make. Check the label on the bottom of the laptop for the manufacturer and the model number.
