Thanks. My mistake. Just did some research on the car. The year is the year the casting was copyrighted, not the year it was manufactured. The display card shows 1993 on the back of it and is likely the year it was manufactured and released. As your description states, it is a commemerative replica, not originally manufactured in 1969. These came out after the 25th Anniversary set of the first 8 cars in 1993. This set was re casted with special paint jobs to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the SWEET 16 in 1994.

The Paddy Wagon is one of the few HW's that has a 1969 and a 2008 copyright date stamped on the base. This is due to the name change to "COPPER STOPPER" for the 40th anniversary set. Which is a hard set to find because it was split up after it's release by collectors who only wanted certain cars.

Not this one so much. Now that Johnny Lightning Zeppelin, car is highly collectible. The equivalent of HW's Culture Series. Any thing in relation to music is always going to reach out to more collectors. I have the Pop Culture HW Grateful Dead and the Johnny Lightning G. Dead set. Would never part with them!! Hard to put together. Not impossible, but hard. Nice listings by the way. Hope your 2017 is treating you and yours well!!.

Yeah I'm getting rid of all the hot wheels. There taking to much space. Wish I could keep collecting but maybe down the road I can start collecting again when I have more room in the house. I'm not up to putting all the hot wheels in the garage and get ruined. 2017 is treating us good here. Hope 2017 is treating and yours well also!!!
