Questions & Comments
Does this have the 'cabbage patch' emblem iron on inside the pattern? If I recall the patterns had it so you could iron it onto the clothing. Just wondering. thanks for doing the discount on the shipping! that is very generous of you. fanned and checking out all your auctions
I don't see it. It's not mentioned on the pattern directions anywhere. I didn't unfold the pattern though, so if it's tucked inside I didn't come across it.
I bought the patterns when I made the dolls. The dolls came out in the early 80s, when my daughter was a baby. I had the patterns from Xavier Roberts for the soft sculpture dolls; when they were selling his cabbage patch dolls in the stores and they were so high. The patterns started coming out right away and have been in and out of the pattern books. The first patterns had the iron on transferrs. As you say this may have been a later pattern, notice the photograph instead of the drawings, so they may have quit doing the iron on transferrs. thanks for checking :-)
