To be hones with you , I think your winters are too cold for it to stay outside. I would grow it as a house plant, then in the summer , put it outside until it start getting cool again and then bring it back in. My vines all browned during the cold snap here in S.W.Florida- but as soon as it warms they will be growing again. They grow pretty fast. Hope this helps.
