Yes it is high. Albums are 12" x 12", the minimum Priority Mail shipping price for items of this size is nearly $16. I have been "told" the same about the Free Shipping. That will work fine for some items, but not all.

Yes it is high. Record albums are 12" x 12" therefore the Priority Mail shipping box at that size is nearly $16 min. I have been "told" the same about free shipping, that is why I have the item available for local pick up.
