This auction is for a Pleasant Company (American Girl) Samantha 18" doll. She is a very pretty Samantha doll and represents the 1904 time-frame in America. She was pre-owned, and is in very good condition. She can stand and hold a pose and her tan cloth body and vinyl limbs are clean, no spots or stains. . She has the lighter brown hair typical of the earlier Samantha dolls. Although her hair can still be styled, the back hair ends seem a little dry. Her hair is a little rougher but the same style as when new.Samantha has brown eyes with slightly "curled-up" lashes also typical of the early Samantha. Her neck stamp says Pleasant Company in large uneven block letters; she has long neck strings; and she has no body label. She will arrive wearing her original but there is no label.on the Meet Dress. Her cuffs on the dress velcro at the cuff one side is loose and needs resewing.She also wears the American Girl labeled Mary Jane black meet shoes. The socks are but not labeled but are American girl.This Samantha is an outstanding and durable doll and would fit right in with one's doll collection. She is Clean and no marks on her body.
