This recipe has been in my family since the early 50's. My grandmother made it for years and gave it away for Christmas gifts. She was a stickler for following the exact recipe, no substitutions. After she passed away, I was always asked for her recipe time and time again. I still make it the regular way, but I will also give you a couple variations, one for sweeter mix and one for spicy.
-It is a very simple recipe, and easy for anyone to follow. The most important thing to keep in mind is this is not meant to be made in a crock pot, microwave, or in small batches, and it is definitely not meant to be made with butter!
-you will also receive a mystery cookbook. The cookbook will be in good used condition. Most of the ones I have are "taste of Home" and hardbacks. Most were used very little.
-I have both types of books, meals or desserts, and some a combination of both. If you prefer one style over the other just let me know in message after the close of auction.
