This belt will comfortably fit a 36" waist, which is the size recommended for this 40" X 2 1/4" GORGEOUS .44/.45 cal heavy duty COWHIDE LEATHER cowboy action/cartridge belt. The back is completely suede-lined making it very comfortable to wear for all-day play! From the end of the buckle to the center hole measures 40", then it can tighten to 38" and loosen to 42. The buckle (which I believe is brass-plated nickel and not solid brass) can easily be removed to place your own favorite buckle on the belt. This is the type of belt that you wear until you yourself are worn and then you pass it down to your kids and/or grandkids. It's just fabulous, I guarantee you're going to love it!
