Description

The listing, The Bad News Bears has ended.

This is a great sports comedy film about an alcoholic, ex-minor league player (Walter Matthau) who agrees to coach a Little League team at the request of lawyer-councilman Bob Whitewood (Ben Piazza), who is angry for the league excluding his son. To help the struggling team, he recruits a female named Amanda Whurlitzer (Tatum O' Neal) to help them, but he has to have the patience and luck to turn this team around.

See Walter Matthau in a great performance before he did Hopscotch and first Monday in October and Tatum o Neal before she basically did just television.
