The listing, Large Carnival Glass Fruit Pedestal Bowl Grape and Vine Detail has ended.

Ok going out on a limb here...lol. This is a LARGE HEAVY Carnival glass fruit bowl on a pedestal (All one piece), It measures 8 1/4 inches tall to top scallop, 8 inches tall to bottom of scallop edge. It is not signed, features grapes, leaves and some vines...very detailed. The base measures 4 1/4 inches the top opening measures over 8 inches for the opening. It will have to go in a large priority box, if it will fit in one, I will check Monday. Which is under 20.00 shipping, which is why I say out on a limb. This is what is called amber color glass, I will pack very careful! No chips scratches or broken pieces. Your chance to have a very large collectible vintage carnival glass item. I have this same bowl in blue carnival glass and it's got a lid. There is a ridge on the inside of the bowl that the lid fits in. Thanks for letting me know. I was hoping for a match to my blue set.

Sorry mine dont have a lid many places make carnival glass and the ones that are not marked can make the same pattern as other pieces, yours was probably made by a different maker. This one is pretty large for carnival glass but still pretty enough not to be used for fruit but for anything. I know people on here will have to fight alicat for it, she is a hard cookie to beat...meow :) Thanks for stopping by, I do have lots more carnival glass to list, but going down a list as I unpack of what gets listed right away in order :)

You cant follow others just keep to your own ethics...and online there are all kinds. I have one now that commented on a pocket watch about it not being antique if it takes a battery, but I thought it was antique brass not antique although it is vintage. Anyways he wont release my credits and demands me to make a deal with him on get this my gold...lol. Even though I said if you dont want it, send it back because many before you did and I will be more than happy to relist and give back your credits...and I seen through their feedback they have a habit of it doing it to others as well. I never mind giving deals to me, but when you try to play extortion games with me, Im not very nice then...lol. Online you will see all kinds, people that make habits for not paying for their items, people that will try to tell you how to run your business, and schemers too. I find the best thing to do is block them. So if someone does not like your prices I say will then move on, and I dont do it to me mean...but I am a dont waste my time and I wont waste yours type of person. If they want a different price tell them go find it...plain and simple. I try to keep a mixture of low start auctions that start at one credit then I have people complain that they dont have the time to sit watch and compete, and I have gins and then I have people complain that its too pricey or that they like regular auctions. Cant please the world I say...people will always find something to complain about its in their character and nature. Dont worry about pleasing others in life, if you live that way you would be one unhappy person. Do as you want, They are not your parent, your boss, your family... grams always said a persons mind is like cement both are mixed up and permanently set... true words of wisdom grams :D

Damn write. You are preaching to the choir...well okay me. I had one guy tell me that this is not a site to sell on and make money, what other kind of a site is it? Besides with the shipping I have been paying my husband is trying to reason in his head why I'm on the site if I am not even making enough to cover the shipping. Oh well, I am just going to think of my family, friends both here at home and the new ones like you that I have met here on Listia and enjoy visiting with, the wonderful return buyers I have and the buyers coming up. I just want them to enjoy their time looking at my auctions and other auctions & hopefully finding stuff they like and bid on them.

Trust me this is not a money making site. I never mind paying a lot for a gin or auction because I know the shipping on here kills people. I work many sites, this site complains if the have to ship...just 1 only one of my other sites I made over $900.00 last week, and every order they paid the shipping and I got the money right away. No waiting, no going months with out, no having to turn it in to get your cash and waiting days. Bam its sold, bam you paid and they pay shipping on top of it. So yes this is not a site to make big on. But it is still a fun site, and you do meet many wonderful people on here. My family has been trying to get me to leave this site since I started...lol... for the shipping I spend, time and effort with little to even no pay for many months. And I have seen many leave here as well. The best thing I have found is to work more sites, other sites pay better which helps you be able to juggle them on and stay on the ones that do not pay well. That way people are still happy they are winning your auctions and that you have not left, as well as you get a better flow of income coming in. :D

This is also known as a compote dish. Some compote dishes do have lids but not all of them. I have one similar to this one that was my grandmother's. Good luck with your auction.
