The medal "For a Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." is produced from brass and has the form of the correct circle with a diameter of 32 mm.

On the medal face profile pogrudny image of Stalin I. V. in the form of Marshall of the Soviet Union, turned to the left. In the top part of a medal on a circle the inscription "Our RIGHT CAUSE", in the lower part on a circle the inscription "We HAVE WON".

On the back inscription medals: on a circle – "FOR the VICTORY OVER GERMANY", in the center – "In the GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR of 1941-1945",
