This is a gently used pair of earrings for pierced ears. They are made & painted to look like the tropical bird with the really large bill, the Toucan. They measure about 1-5/8th's inches, if you add the hook they are almost 2-1/2 inches long. They are basically black with yellow, red & blue bills, black & red tails & backs, purple feathers, yellow throat/head. They are sitting on a branch with their purple (or gray?) feet. Their eyes are black & white. The hooks attach onto a round bail coming out of their heads. They are in great condition. I will clean them up (they've been stored a while) and sterilize the hooks with alcohol. Both of these together probably don't weigh an ounce; I can't tell what they're made of but it feels like a really light wood maybe. If you love your birds, you'll like these! I don't think so; I don't really remember, but you can always replace the current earwires with hypoallergenic ones I'm sure. Thanks for your question, GL if you decide to bid...{:^)
