Although it is said these strands don't contain much of anything. After you have had your flower come and go when your pods are nice and swollen cut them down to the base close to the dirt. Hang them upside down in a dry place for a couple weeks.

Afterward and crack them open bake them in any of your favorite breads,bagels or any breakfast treats of your liking! My favorite is lemon poppyseed. these little blue guys are absolutely delicious! By far my favorite seed for baking!
