Our childhood dream of owning that many toy cars! Hope all is well there! Be back Stateside in Sept. Sure looking forward to the two month visit! Taking a road trip to the West Coast also! Got to check out my land in Arizona!
Awesome. I hope no squatters for you on the plot, lol. Be careful and enjoy. I bought 4 Hotwheels for like 50 cents when my grandmother took me to my first flea market. I was hooked and still am.
I'm hooked too! Use to have the giant Hot Wheels Case to keep the cars in! I've starting picking up a few new here and leave them in the packages! They are cheap here....still at the 50 cent price! I know they are a lot higher in the States! My Uncles look after the land....they live all around it...MY grandpa left it to me! There is 150 acres total in the family there on the Colorado rivers! Great fishing there!
I am a Volkswagen fanatic owning 6 currently with my daily driver being a lowered 1974 superbeetle that I am in the process of Red Skull theme-ing. I say this because when my parents worked 2 shifts in my youth my grandmother took care of my brother and I. We all had Hotwheels and would drop race them. Where you have a board to race down and hold them up with another only to quickly remove it and first one to the porch floor wins. I had an orange Vw with a German guy in a chrome military helmet and a fly on the hood with rockets on the roof and a wing. Nobody,....but NOBODY could put run it. For 2 summers everyone was green with it. When it came time for me to get a car a VW was high on the list. I have owned over 20 VW vehicles since then and it ( the orange bug Hotwheels) is the personal " crown " in my collection. I have the interior for my daily red skull VW done in original material but with chrome piping and had a jeweler make Sterling skulls about and inch high that have been attached to the middle of both front seats and one in the back. Gonna be "Marvel-ous" when I get it done. And the next comic con I have my Red Skull cosplay completed to go with. Lol. Always good to talk to you bro, very reminiscing,...thanx.
That sounds really sweet. I still pick up Hotwheels too and keep the ones I like regardless of whatever value they have. They just take me back. Still have all of mine from childhood and am about ready in the man cave to display them all around a tyco racetrack , should be fun. Godspeed on your trip over and enjoy state-side and fishing and all the things.
