Description

The listing, 4.3" in-car GPS with latest 2011 maps - Check it out! Great for truckers or anyone! has ended.

Up for auction is an Insignia NS-CNV43 GPS unit with 4.3" touchscreen.

The built-in software that came on this from Best Buy was so awful (just read the reviews) that I wiped the 2GB microSD card clean and installed iGo Primo 2.0. iGo software is hugely popular in Europe and the rest of the world and is (in my opinion) better than anything from Garmin, TomTom, Magellan, Navigon, or any other manufacturer.

Has text-to-speech (TTS), truck driver features, lane assist / lane guidance and signposts, smart history, and a bunch of other great features. Check http://www.igomyway.com/igo-primo for full feature list.

GPS comes with windshield suction cup mount and car charger. Good battery life. I have put a screen protector on the GPS to protect from scratches.

Software details:
iGo Primo 2.0 (latest version) and latest maps (Navteq 2Q 2011) for the USA and Canada
Over 12 navigation voices (American English, Australian English, UK English). Additional language packs (Spanish, French, Hungarian, Italian, Croatian, others), are available. If you are the winner of this auction and need a different language, I'll take care of it!

NOTE: All features work 100% but because this is running alternate software, the volume dial doesn't do anything. All features (including volume) are accessed by the touchscreen.

Keywords: Perplexer, automobile or pedestrian or big rig GPS navigation

Great auction. Any possibility of shipping towards Canada? Winner pays shipping via PayPal. Thanks and watching.

Sure, I have changed shipping options. Winner will pay actual shipping cost to Canada. However, free shipping to Canada if GIN is used. Thanks, I always forget about our friends to the North.

does the volume work without doing anything or do you have to touch the screen to make it loud enough?

The volume setting stays where you left it so really you only need to set your volume preference one time. Max volume is pretty loud :) If you do need to mute or change volume, it is one tap from any map screen. Thanks!
