How do these work? I've never had a pair like this. What's Bluetooth? I mean If I don't have blue tooth, will they still work on my phone and iPad?

Most phones have bluetooth with these you can listen to music with no wiring as far as the ipad im sure it has the setting.
If you go into the settings on your phone thats where you would find bluetooth.
