The listing, HINDU ROPE HOYA (Hoya Carnosa Compacta) *** 3" Cutting *** Hard to Find Variety *** has ended.

Winner will get the exact plant shown in the first 4 pictures. Picture #5 is a recent bloom from my mother plant this cutting was taken from. The twisted, curvy "Rope" Hoya is somewhat hard to find and a favorite with collectors. It is in the succulent family of plants and thrives in bright light with only minimal watering.
The plant is about 3" from side to side and is rooting nicely.

WILL BE SHIPPED BARE ROOT WITH MINIMAL SOIL FOR SAFE TRAVEL. NO POT.

Yes! This mostly refers to the bloom, as it looks like a wax flower. I have the Speckled Hoya you sent. I didn't loose a single one!

We should have a Listia Garden Club that meets in some fabulous gardening spot. Hawaii comes to mind. Vegas has excellent succulents, and food, and stuff!

Ive had mine for 16 years. It blooms two or three times a year. The flowers smell like tootsie rolls.

Mine seeps to bloom mostly outside so I've never smelled Tootsie Rolls. Which is kind of a drag cuz I love Tootsie Rolls! Thanks for the comment!

I have several varieties of Hoya but my Varigated Hindu Rope just never has done well. Does it need something special or different than the other Hoyas? I treat it the same as the others and they thrive.

I struggled with some of mine too. They seem to prefer a terracotta pot, Either that, or my ravishing, manly good looks did the trick.
