I have a friend that made me chairman of the board for the rescue he wants to start but I don't know if that will ever happen? He has rescued a few and basically the 4 me and my roommate have,(only one is mine) are all recues in one way or another.Since 7/3/2012 the day I got Dakota Bear there has only been 3 nights He wasn't able to sleep next to me.Love my big bed hog and after 5 years now would be lost without Him.

I been rescuing since I was 16 years old.It started with horses going to slaughter. Then also rescued other animals from 1975 to 2005. Then Katrina hit my home in Louisiana and I lost everything. I moved with my kids and few animals I could load up in 3 trucks and stock trailers. Lived in many states.Then in 2007 I moved to Covington county in Alabama . This is one of two counties that abuse is bad. I been in full force in rescuing dogs mainly and do accept other animals when I have the room. I am disabled and have a bad heart. But I love animals so much and will do anything to help them out through the Lord. They are put on this earth for us to love and help us. Not to be abused. Love your big fur baby til the day you will have to say good bye but remember your memories and you will see again one day also if your life is right with God.

This is a great love if you can handle working or helping a shelter. Takes a lot of love and sometimes a good stomach.I am very proud of you for doing this.
I own my own private rescue in my home.
