These are great Autum money makers,

They can be left to dry as they are picked or
hollowed out.
These are large gourds.
The seeds are large as well.
They have many uses, selling from $4.oo to $12.oo whole, as picked. What can be done with them is up to the imagination.
I have seen them simply decorated and sell for around $10.oo and up..as when picked, just decorated with a bow, or indian corn etc...
hollowed out, dried and painted, the money one can make from these is sweet, especially for crafters,I saw one for $34.00 , painted one color with a pictured painted on it. I can only imagine if they were painted up, maybe airbrushed to look like actual swans, maybe even whistler swans.
They are fun and easy to grow, and can make you money if you wish to try that.
The are quite an interesting conversation piece , to say the least .
