This is for the winner to do. One more thing. i have bought several vhs tapes and dvd's from the dollar store and have had no problems with them as so far.

Thank you JamesDean55 and just for the James Dean fans out there like myself I will share a little of my own PERSONAL on him. I was born in Salinas California, also known as John Steinbeck Country, where the book East Of Eden came to frutation and where parts of the movie was filmed. It was where he was headed that fateful day. I also live about an hour away from the town of Shandon and the small little roadside gazebo like memorial that was built from funds donated by one private citizen. It sits just a few miles up the road from where the accident actually happened. There is I beleive a plaque above the entrance which has his name James Byron Dean on it in raised letters. Well over the years the B in Byron has been pried off and stolen a number of times, so much so that they stopped replacing it years ago. Strange that it is only the B, you would think it would be the J & D. Also, fans leave behind for him ciggarette butts and pennys. They are strategically placed, not just stomped out ciggarette butts and strewn about pennys. Its a strange feeling to be inside this little open air memorial, not a bad strange but you feel the love and the sadness for him. I would maybe once or twice a year pop in East Of Eden that I used to have on VHS and I could not take my eyes off of him for most of the movie. It was not just his looks, and yes he had that IT FACTOR, but his brilliance as an actor!! Anyone else out there have any stories trivia or just their own PERSONAL they would like to share? It would be really cool to hear. Dont hold back, dont be shy like me.....LOL

Really!! Please tell me more. OMG, too cool. So I am sure you have seen pictures of him that only family members and trusted aquaintences are privy to. His family, it seems, never sold him out that I can recall. Listen to me, sounds like I think Im an expert on him. Straight from my graduation from James Dean University, diploma in hand. Uh Huh LOL! To know that you possess the same DNA that James Dean had, what an awesome thought.
