Going to go all out with this one, have been away for a while helping out with new grand-baby and am back!

Here we go...my 20 year wedding anniversary is Aug 31 and I want to celebrate having a wonderful, sweet and supportive husband for the last 2 decades. He married me; a widow with 3 young children and 2 grown and we have one of our own who will be 18 next month, not to mention 7 grandchildren! He has been my rock and continues to be THE BEST husband a woman could ask for and I am blessed to have him. May we have 20 more!

Thanks for the congrats, for someone whose first marriage was at sixteen and three husbands down the road totally some 40 odd years this one was the longest...my second husband was hero who dies serving his country and this husband has been a hero taking on a widow with her three young girls...as I mentioned before the first husband we will not mention although I have two beautiful grown adults children from him, that's the only good thing he ever did. Yes, now, where would we go? Alaska? The Bahamas...I've always wanted to take a cruise....thought I'd do it on my 60th birthday but that came and went in June with nary a boat ride...lol....maybe next year!

I hope ya'll have a blast. I think my last vacation was when my aunt passed in 2007 and we took her home to be buried. I was on bedrest and could not stay so it was a long day up there and a long day back with joy ( baby ) and sadness . But , kinda a vacation as I went home.

Sometimes we have to make a vacation out of a not so fun thing...so sorry about your Aunt...that is a hard thing to deal with, especially if you're on bed rest pregnant! Once I had to travel back home (MA) from where we were stationed (NC) when my father passed away...I saw him before he died but he was brain dead (brain aneurysm). I was about 6 months pregnant. Not an easy trip but a trip nonetheless....that was 33 years ago....
