That I do not know, the instruction manual only gives directions for pc to pc transfer

i believe it would allow for pc to external drive but if you have purchased the external drive it should have had a cord that came with it

I honestly don't know, that makes sense 'cause it's all USB but the instructions that came with it don't support that option.

you should be able to put all the files you want to move or copy into a new folder and drag and drop to the external drive.

PLEASE READ, First of all F&W I could use this, I also want to know if you have or know what this is computer wire is called, i will describe it- you know what the end of a camera corde looks like to download your pics to your computer? well i need a real real long one about 50 ft with that end on both ends, do you have one to list and what is it called? thanks

only thing I can think of is that it is either a USB cable or a special cable made only for that camera. I don't have any other cables than what I have listed.
