This is a drop dead gorgeous ring. It was sold to me as natural mined gemstones but the price leads me to believe this is more than likely man made stones and if it is not then whoever wins this will be getting a great deal. Either way it is a Beautiful ring! The size is listed as an 8.5 and I would say that is close to its true size.
My photos do not do this ring justice. I have tried several times to get the marking in the ring. You can clearly see the 10K but the GF is always in the light. I have shown all angles so you can see the workmanship. The color is coming out a little darker than the actual ring. The photos on the mirror are closer to the actual color. I have included pictures before I removed the price tag.

Fan and Bidding - Pretty Ring - Tanzanite is my birthstone - This looks like a man-made (or simulated tanzanite), hard to tell from pictures. Either way it's pretty.

At the price of natural Tanzanite I am inclined to say this is man-made even though it was sold as natural. They are just too perfect and clear for that price. Though from what i am learning the more blue tint is the ones that are higher in price than the ones towards the purple side.
But bid like it is man-made...

This looks like amythest & wht topaz as tanzanite is not this purple. This darker purple could be African amythest which is very valueable.Stones that are towards the purple side are extremely light but still have blue in them. The best way to always tell tanzanite is to memorize the color Periwinkle at its lightest - Darkest gemmy color. It is difficult for some to know Tanzanite But I've been buying it for 20yrs now & I look at scores of stones via photos to buy for bus & it will always have some blue in it that is the definition of tanzanite. I have a very rare pc that has some green in it but that is 1 out of 5000 stones.You can never tell anystone for sure unless you test it which I often do.

I wish I had a tester that would be great. I have seen ones for diamonds but not ones for colored gems Well that are under 100 dollars. That is why I said this is more than likely cz or some other stone. It is just too purple and the price was low for a stone that clear. Even though it was sold as a natural stone and labeled tanzanite it looked to clear for the price. you are right it could be an amethyst
