The listing, Large Sewing Box Filled With Sewing Supplies has ended.

Large Yellow/blue/white Sewing Basket with plastic handle and brass clasp. Box has clear plastic removable tray on interior along with two pockets and pin cushion on inside of lid. Box measures -- 12-1/2" L x 8-1/2" W x 6-1/2" H. I used this box for storing sewing supplies, it is in like new condition with no stains, breaks, very clean, etc. With the box you will get the following items ----

Thanks - I have so much sewing supplies that are new, plus used and I hardly ever sew anymore, so there could be a few more items added. It would make a great starter basket for a beginner or would be great for the experienced sewer also.

Thx Billi, I've made a number of quilts. It's really quite easy. Now I decided to try machine embroidery. I bought a machine a few years ago. My daughter wants me to embroider her name on all her saddle pads, blankets, etc. my thought is to redo the cushions on my dining room chairs with Embroidered flowers on them. The quilts my hubby's aunt made were never used, just stored in pillowcases unless being shown in a fair. They were all done by hand. Beautiful! Your auction is WOW! So much stuff in the basket. I hope I win, but if not, someone's getting a very nice basket & goodies!

I have a few old sewing boxes. I inherited a couple from family along with lots of old sewing supplies and patterns. I listed a lot of the stuff on Listia. One interesting thing I inherited is large loops of silk thread in assorted colors. Not in a ball, but a loop. Is it supposed to be wound on to large spools? I'm scratching my head on this one.

I don't know, maybe it's just supposed to be rolled into balls? Sounds lovely though. I wish I would have been around when you where getting rid of some of your vintage sewing stuff. I love old patterns, laces and trims, ribbons, etc

I'll be growing through more to list when my foot heals from surgery I just had on Wednessday. I'm sitting here listing lots of plush toys and coloring books that I had photos on my iPad. They're from my online store. I'm clearing out and getting ready to list lots of antiques we inherited. I'll get back to all the crafting supplies in about 2 months, maybe sooner. My hubby's aunt was big on crafting, quilting, sewing and making things for doll houses. She made quilts that even now the State Fair ask us if they can display them for the show! She was quite a lady!

Well I will be sure to keep an eye on your auctions, I love antiques also so will be exited to see what you list. Vintage quilts are wonderful, i recently purchased a couple at an estate sale that were beautifully done and in wonderful condition for their age. Your hubby's aunt sounds like she was quite talented. I have always wanted to learn to quilt, but have never done so, I mostly do altered clothing and purses and such now, which is fun using antique and vintage materials. Billi
