This is a scarf that looks like it might be for bellydancing, although it is a little smaller than the ones I have seen used for that purpose. Actually the sides are not all exactly the same length, so I think this was handmade. The sides are 14" to 16" long.

This scarf consists of a sheer white square with a black border of thicker material, and onto that are sewn various gold-tone coins and dangly decorations with beads and discs in gold, magenta and blue. The dangly parts are not all identical, and you could easily add more if you wanted.

This scarf makes a wonderful light jingling sound when it moves.

The beads are all plastic - some are imitation pearls, and some are crystals. The crystals are cool because they have more than one color to them, as you can see in the photos. The coins are a gold-tone metal. The coins are on strands of seed beads that are a dark grey with a silver sheen to them like hematite.

This scarf is not in perfect condition - there are some loose threads hanging from it and the beads are somewhat worn. However, if you were going to use it for dance, nobody would notice those little flaws from a distance. I actually did a little sewing on it to make it nicer for you so don't complain! :)
