The listing, Creative WebCam NX has ended.

This is an older webcam but I've never had a problem with it working. Comes with camera that has a stand to attach to your monitor, external mic, book and installation CD. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try my best to answer them

I'm honestly not sure. I tried to find the system requirements on the book but couldn't. You may be able to do a google search for the camera and find information that way. When I used it, we had XP I believe...and I don't have a Windows 7 ready computer to test it with. Sorry :-/

how well is the view it captures? can u get up close and see very clearly? or is it not very clear? i need one that shows colors correctly and can get good closeup views for things like hair styling and makeup details. thanks!

It's been so long since I've used it that I honestly can't remember how clear it is but this camera isn't anything fancy or expensive so it might not be super clear on closeups or color. I don't know if I have any of the pictures I took with it saved but I'll try to look when I get home from work and upload them if I do.
