Flint Knapping TRIPLE FLOW obisian INDIAN KNIFE HEAD!!
this is absolutely amazing to see in person, the pictures do not do it justice. It's called triple flow because it features three running colors.. Black, red, and if you look at the picture that I have it held to the light you will see the clear where the light shines through. It's one of the coolest "stones" in my opinion. This peticular piece is very old, it was made by an Indian tribe many many many years ago. You could keep it as is or make it into a knife. Theres all kinds of youtube videos if you need any pointers....you could literally use any handle material you wanted but I have another piece which I made into a full handled knife with elk antler and sold for $245. The detail in this piece is gorgeous, Knapping has been done for ages and is used for the purpose of shaping flint, chert or obsidian through the process of lithic reduction.
This knife head measures about 3.4 inches from til to tang and about 2.8 inches without the tang.
