Up for bid is a hardcover book in excellent (unread) condition. Dust jacket is also in excellent condition. I purchased it at a charity auction.

A saintly rabbi miraculously brings to life a clay giant who helps him watch over the Jews of sixteenth-century Prague.

I have not read this book, but I did include a review:

"This is such a good version of the story of the golem. I teach 4th grade at a synagogue after school program and my students really like the book. It would probably be a bit scary/gory for younger kids but this is the age where the amount of gore is just right. It is also a relatively mellow and safe-feeling introduction to anti-semitism, and I often reference this book to the students as we talk about the Holocaust later in the year. It is well written and the pictures are relevant and good as well."
