Can you say what this is for. Is it like
no-sew adhesive? For hems or busted seams?

It is no a no sew adhesive.
It is for applique and you see through it. If you wanted to do machine embroidery or applique this is one product you would choose.
If you want to applique over a damaged area this would work.
