Description

The listing, TWO Gorgeous Seed Bead Necklaces GREAT for Beading, Crafts, or just WEAR them! has ended.

Looks cool eh? Well, this is TWO vintage necklaces, one LONG white one and one shorter choker-length green necklace, both made of MILLIONS of seed beads! To get this look you'll have to do a little work, or wear them separately, or take them apart for the beads ... that is a LOT of seed beads!

Free US shipping too!

I have a BUNCH of old vintage beaded necklaces listed, all nice enough to wear but also would be great to take apart. I generally list a few items each night ... watch my upcoming listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303!

Watch for more terrific beads and supplies I plan to list this week:
* Silver headpins
* Sterling (yes, sterling) earring hooks
* 5.5 mm daisy spacers
* 2.5mm and 4mm round silver plate beads
(these little silver rounds add a pop of brightness to just about any jewelry)
* S-curved silver tubes (I LOVE these, it's what got me started buying more findings--see necklaces I made with them at http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/gg146/natahoa/Jewelry/)
* C-curved silver twist and plain tubes
* 50mm silver headpins (not sure what gauge)

So, get some stuff listed so you'll have credits to bid on these GREAT items!

WARNING to bidders ... many bids placed in the last minute never register because Listia's servers can get overwhelmed and slow down. If you want something PLEASE place your bid at LEAST two minutes before the auction end--before it's too late!

Happy Memorial Day weekend! I am away for a few days, so please be patient if you have questions. I will answer them but possibly not right away. I will ship all wins from this weekend on WEDNESDAY. Thanks for your patience!

It looks pretty cool twisted with the white, doesn't it! I had to mess around with it endless to get those photos. You could make this into a necklace with both of them, but you'd have to shorten the white one (or just use part of it). You could also just leave them as two separate necklaces and wear them together or apart ... put hooks on both ends and use a round finding to link them together. I've though of making necklaces like that, with hooks on both ends, then you could wear multiple necklaces together (add a strand!).

I like the way it looks in the pic, lol. I have a green and white striped top it would look great with.

Keep in mind that you'd have to MAKE it this way! I just did that for the photo ...

I know, and I'll never be able to repeat what you did, lol, but I still like it

Oh, it would be easy. Just cut the white one about three inches longer than the green one, use the extra string ends to attach a clasp, then twist the two together and clasp them. You could also attach them together to one clasp, but if you left them separate you could use them separately. Wear them twisted or just draped together.

Will you make me a Power Point lesson for that? lolol

Y'know, I'm good on the computer but have never done Powerpoints! Nah, you just gotta figure them out. You have jewelry tools, don't you? I could send you a clasp set with these if you win them, if you need it.

I do have jewelry tools. And since there's already black and other colors of seed beads in my carpet, adding a few green and white seed beads couldn't hurt while I tried to create, if I win, lolol.

Opening a hank of black beads last week I missed the bowl on the first part. You just know that even the vacuum doesn't get them all.

I really do intend on listing the leftover glass whales one of these weeks, too. Just as soon as I remember where I put them and the extra fish. It's only a 500 sq-ft apt so they can't be too many places. I think this next week is time for some serious organization.

Uh oh, if you lost them in there you may never find them. Amazing how much you can stash in a small place!
