You have SUCH nice beads on Listia, but can I make a suggestion? Try to offer them free shipping if you can. It costs about $1.90 with stamps, less if you purchase your shipping labels via Paypal multiorder shipping (also includes free delivery confirmation). And, you can usually ship several lots of beads without extra postage (unless they are heavy nugget stones). I think you would get a TON of bids if your stuff was free shipping, and a few thousand more credits is worth paying for the postage.

Or, offer to send multiple lots for your $3 shipping fee. So, if someone wins more than one of your listings, it will still only cost $3. Also, you should explain how you plan to collect the shipping money. Paypal is the easiest, safest and most reliable way to do that. If you don't have a Paypal account, you might want to set one up, just to collect shipping fees. Then you can purchase your postage directly from Paypal, so you don't have to use any cash at all to ship. It's pretty slick, works beautifully.

Hope that helps, I LOVE to see people with super nice beads on Listia. I sold all my nice stone beads long ago when I first got on Listia. Now I list findings and "basics" like silver beads and they do pretty well for me, but it's rare to see beads as nice as yours on here.

thank you, I do offer to send 3 auctions for the 3.00 but for some reason it didn't get listed on this auction. I used to add the payment info with each auction but I still had to resend it so I decided to send it to buyers when the auction ended.

I appreciate your interest and help, it's always a learning experience when starting to sell at a new sight. I've been fortunate with so many liking m beads

I see you have different items than mine, i started importing my own beads when I got fustrated trying to find quality and unique beads. i like unique but now I am getting older and not doing as many shows and need to reduce my inventory

I am a bead hoarder so I had to finally decide to let go

Thank you

Oh, and also, list them in the "beading" subcategory. That's the "standard" subcategory. "Jewelry Making" is a custom subcategory, it doesn't get nearly as many people browsing. I tried the new/custom subcategories when Listia introduces them and got not action at all. Stick with the beading subcategory, I think you'll do a lot better.

thank you for the suggestion but I simply can't afford to do free shipping, today alone I sent out 11 orders for a total of almost 30.00, I send out at least 5 per day and I combine upto 3 items for 3.00 with each additional .50 each

I see I forgot to post it on this auction but can't edit now

thanks

LOL, I think every beader is a bead hoarder. That's how I got started on Listia, seemed like a great way to trade in all the beads I'd had for years and never used. It evolved into providing the listings I have now ... basically a service to always have basic beading supplies available. I prefer to keep it that way and let other sellers offer the "fancy" beads like yours. My Listia business is complex enough as it is without adding more to keep track of!

I used to import my beads so I have thousands of dollars of bead and findings, it is now it's time to reduce my items, I'm not designing much anymore I'm 66 and just over cancer surgeries and treatment so it's time to slow down.

If you write a few "boilerplate" paragraphs, you can use that same info in every listing. I also primarily relist. You can change all the info and photos, but all your settings are preserved from the ended listing. I find that the easiest thing to do, rather than set up new listings each time. I rework my boilerplate constantly, but I can be confident that my basic shipping info, and the marketing I do for my other listings, is always intact when I list something ... even if I get distracted and forget to change or add something.
