V Shape Mind's debut cd is a good up-beat album, full of catchy and rocking music. Cul-De-Sac is full of inspiring lyrics and a very cool atmosphere.
1. Antithesis of Oragami- A great way to start off, a nice catchy rock song. I really like Brad's lyrics in this song: "I'm annointed to be disappointed".
2. Glitches- 5/5- A really atmospheric song, great singing and soaring guitars. They've got their songwriting down for sure. a favorite.
3. Monsters- This song features Chad Gray, the vocalist from Mudvayne. its an awesome song. Its pretty groovy.
4. Dangle- A pretty cool atmospheric song. Cool lyrics and nice mellow guitars.
5. Taste of Vinegar-- A rocking catchy song. Once again, has very inspiring lyrics. Who's Mark David Chapman? But anyway I like the guitars and bass at the end.
6. Totally Different Head An impressive song. A very catchy yet soothing song at the same time. V Shape Mind is very good at creating atmosphere.
7. Peel the Rind- 5/5- I really like this song. Its got a creepy sound to it. Really nice guitar work and vocals. A favorite definetly. Very impressive solo.
8. Gravity- 4/5- This song has a cool little guitar part in it. "Gravity" also has some nice lyrics, I like the drumming in it also.
9. Brakecheck- 4/5- The quickest rocking song on the cd. It does have some nice guitars in it. A pretty cool chorus.
10. Chameleon Wars- 5/5- This is for sure my favorite song on Cul-De-Sac. Everything about this song is awesome. Theres something really cool about this song. Atmosphere, lyrics, vocals, music, everything.
11. That Cool Refreshing Drink- 5/5- Its just like the title says. A really refreshing rock song. Some great guitar work and harmonious vocals. A really cool chorus, interesting lyrics too.
12. Untitled Track- 4/5- A slow, kinda-acoustic song. Its alright i guess. Cool vocals, good lyrics as usual. I like the piano.
In conclusion, V Shape Mind is a band worth checking out.
