Vintage Pin brooch featuring a semi precious cabochon in the middle of flower petals, and then a very detailed metal leaf backing. Penny next to brooch pin as a comparison for size.

Free First Class Shipping in the US. Please note, it's quite a distance from my local post office, and they don't do pick up in my area, so I ship twice a week, whenever I drive into work (since its closer to the only post office still open in my area). Please be aware of this.

a Cabochon is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted (like a faceted diamond or ruby in a ring). oftentimes, a cabochon is flat or rounded on one side so that it can easily mount to a metal surface. there are two different metals, but I don't have a metal tester anymore, from my limited experience, I know one of them is brass, but I can't figure the other one out.

there are no worn places on the leaf, which is good, because it is very ornate/detailed. I'm at work right now, but I believe the petals are in very Good condition and dont remember any wear. but I'll double check
