Red and Orange Butterfly Weed.

These seeds were taken from my plants last Fall. I planted some and they came up within a week. I did not count how many are in this little envelope, but it is more than 10 and less than 100.

It is a hardy plant that will grow in a variety of planting zones. It's a member of the milkweed family and will produce seed pods in the fall. This plant can take the full sun and even the Florida heat, tho it tends to get leggy (tall) if low on water. And as you can see in the photo it attracts butterflys.
