are the stickers already stuck to the page of this book or loose?

They are New in the book, not stuck, not used. Your little one will still have to find out which page they go on by the picture & the # on the back of the sticker. The stickers come in the book but have to be torn out, but will not do any harm to the book, they are easily taken out.
