Your Alaskan Natural Gold Nugget will weigh 1.02 grams and it comes out of a special hand picked lot of this size.

This is a Natural Nugget – do not bid if you do not understand about natural Gold Nuggets and about Nugget Assay – briefly explained below. Know what you are bidding on! If not – DO NOT BID!

Used is a 2 digit scale to weigh this small nugget and if you only have 1 digit it might not register but it will weigh the amount listed. The Scales are calibrated before every batch is weighed and double checked by employees at this company.

The nugget assay; (An assay is an analysis designed to measure and test the composition in ore, alloys, and precious metals. With respect to precious metals, specifically silver and gold, it is a way to make sure that all the coins or bars produced in a mint meet the correct purity standards and content.) from 77-86% pure not 24KT – (24 KT is man made, not natural) - because they are natural they may contain other minerals. The nugget you are bidding on is an Authentic Alaskan Yukon BC Nugget, promised to me to be tested to be 17 – 23 Kt Pure.

It is described as Alaskan Yukon BC nugget because it was found in Atlin, BC Canada about 50 miles as the crow flies from Skagway Alaska where the miners of the 1898 Klondike gold rush traveled through to reach the gold fields.
Nugget is Pictured with a U.S. Quarter just for size comparison. Quarter is not part of the auction.

Just like someone used to always flag the pure Silver Owl bars that I used to list every time. Then when the person found out that wasn't working he would out bid everyone with outlandish bids and when he won simply not pay it. And I would have to wait the time it took to re-list the item. He kept creating fake accounts on Listia, and did this 5 times. I finally stopped listing those simply so that person would go away and bug someone else - and he or she finally did.

Some people are miserable and they insist on making others that way also. You know the old saying: "Misery enjoys company" - I kind of took it like that. Even when I contacted Listia over it - they explained that there was nothing they could do.

Great auction... I do find it sad that people dont have nothing better to do then to try and earn some badges, they do the same questions to flag auctions. It is one thing to find an auction here and there that is not appropriate and good to flag it, but to make it your mission to try and flag them, trick them with questions etc. Shows for a sad life. great auction, great site, but yes many are worse then kids tattling on the most ignorant stuff... They are just jelly (jealous ) :D Keep listing, and never let them get to you :)

Oh my goodness! I TOTALLY know what you mean when people flag and hide behind it!! Plus some of listia rules are a little unfair.. I was flagged for having a reproduction item.. But I made it VERY CLEAR in the listing. I feel like as long as your 100% honest about the item it should be up to the bidder if they want it or not.. Anyway, this is a REALLY cool auction!!
