The listing, Six Chinese Red Envelopes has ended.
I always thought that Chinese red envelopes were just too beautiful to give away and these six envelopes are no exception; hence my listing them under “Art/Other,” because I think that each of these six 7” X 3 3/4” envelopes are works of art! To the best of my knowledge, these envelopes are used for putting money in during Chinese/Lunar New Year, when children give money to their elders in these envelopes....I may be wrong, it might be the other way around. Nevertheless, each envelope has a different design: they have the gold outlining in the Chinese writing(I have no idea what it says but I’m sure that it’s not bad LOL!) and in the pictures. Though the pictures have mostly flowers, they vary from roses, lotus flowers and marigolds(as best as I know about flowers) and also may have butterflies. One of the envelopes depict a fish scene, it might be koi but I’m not 100% sure. The envelopes were taken out of their protective plastic envelope in order to show details; they will be shipped to the winning bidder in the same protective envelope. If you have any questions, please feel free to inquire...thanks for looking!
