CAMERA WORKS GREAT AND LOOKS GOOD. BATTERY DOOR HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND NOW HAS A SCREW TO HOLD IT SHUT. THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES. CAMERA HAS LARGE SCREEN, HIGH QUALITY LARGE GLASS LENS FOR BRIGHT SHARP PICTURES, BUILT IN FLASH, VIEWFINDER TO SAVE BATTERY LIFE. AND A FULL MENU OF SETTINGS TO GIVE YOU FULL CREATIVE CONTROL. THIS CAMERA USES 4 NEW LITHIUM OR ALKALINE 1.5 VOLT AA BATTERIES. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH USED, RECHARGEABLE, OR HEAVY DUTY BATTERIES AS THESE ARE TOO WEAK AND TOO LOW IN VOLTAGE. THIS CAMERA USES SD MEMORY CARD 4 – 8 GB. THE CAMERA WILL NOT WORK WITH LARGE CAPACITY MEMORY CARDS OVER 8 GB

Digital or optical zoom? And does it have night recording?

12 X optical zoom, so you can come in close without fuzzy digital zoom. Yes, wide choice of scenes includes low light settings, though not the "night vision" with the infra red imaging where everything is bright pale green.

this may be an older camera but i own this i can tell you this is an amazing, reliable camera! a real work horse!!! great listing

Yes, they are nice cameras. People forget about how having a large glass lens contributes to quality pictures. The cloudy small plastic lenses they put on cell phones are a true disappointment. Call me old fashioned, but i first fell in love with photography as a kid with instamatic cartridge film cameras. 126 and then 110. But it was moving up to 35 mm with all the lenses and filters that made a real difference. Still love the feel and weight of a real camera. Digital is nice, especially the larger more fully featured cameras.

I'm not sure what i would put in the video or how I would upload it. I have not seen a way to do that, though I have only been on Listia for 1/2 a year
