Description

The listing, Acer Aspire 5335 has ended.

This auction is for a completely working laptop. It come with the battery and the cord to plug it into the wall. The computer holds a charge just fine, and has no problems charging. The reason I am selling this laptop is because I am a student and I got a new laptop with my student loan money last semester. There are a few minor things wrong with this comp...1. Three of the keys are missing. (my son broke them off) But this does not affect typing, you just press down on the space and it still works. I took the computer to a repaid shop and they said it would cost about 50 dollars to replace the new keyboard. If you don't want to pay for it to get fixed then you can just use it. I got use to it pretty fast and it doesn't affect typing. 2 of the other keys got melted a little bit when I dropped cigarette cherry on them. (yes I smoke, sorry) The last thing wrong with the computer is I have blown the speakers by listening to music. This can be easily fixed by just plugging in some USB powered speakers which sound better anyways. None of this affects how the computer operates. It operates the exact same as it did when I bought it a year ago. I have Avira antivirus installed on it, and there is also a paid lifetime subscription to Malwarebytes included also. (The Malwarebytes subscription couldn't be transferred to the new comp) As you can see in the photo, there are no cracks in the screen or anything like that at all. The touchpad for the mouse works fine, and so does the digital camera. (I've never even used the camera before) But I made sure it still works. I know this is my very first auction but PLEASE bid with confidence. I just very recently found this site and would like to continue using it. Also I cannot do free shipping, as I said I am a student and I dont have alot of extra money. Thank you for looking at my auction and good luck bidding!!

Ok, from the factory no the computer does not support DVD playback. But I did some research online, and maybe someone who understand codecs a little bit better then me could get DVD files to play in Windows Media Player. If you do a google search for "watch DVD's with Windows Vista" there are all kinds of posts saying it can be done, but I just recently cleared the computer and didn't want to start downloading things to try and make it work. But I do believe its possible. I hope this helps and thanks for looking!

From the looks of it they didn't melt to the PCB board. If they did you could just replace the whole keyboard for about $30. Still watching this and I also fanned you foodstamp420

Original
Oh no they didnt do all that. Every single key still works. Even the ones that are missing still work.

Original
Which key are missing and which ones a melted please? Also, can the melted ones be removed?
Apr 12th, 2012 at 6:59:39 AM PDT by
Original
The A, the left Shift key, and the C key are the 3 missing. and then the W key is melted a little bit and the F2 key. And yes they can be removed. You could pop off the 2 that are burnt and replace them.
