This listing is for a brand new in package aromatherapy portable diffuser with 4 sealed bottles of essential oils and extra pads. This is a great set. I have it in my office at work and a similar one at home. The oils are eucalyptus, orange, lemon, and lavender.

what exactly does it do?

There is a little pad you put a few drops of whatever essential oil scent you choose on. Put it in the diffuser. Plug it in and there's a little fan that pushes out the smell.

does it come with instructions? so its like air freshner?

Yes there are instructions. In a way it's like an air freshener. Essential oils have a more intense scent to them as opposed to a normal air freshener. They can help change moods, energize, and relax you.
