Thieves are getting better and better. I do what I can: wrap cards in foil to deter scanning detection, wrap it with bubble wrap around a piece of card board, mark it fragile and put decorative tape around the envelop edges but I cannot control what happens after I put it into the hands of the USPS. So again, I will ship, but recommend digital. I believe for McD's all you need to do is buy a $5 card and register it and then you can reload that card with any amount you want.
