yes for digital items how do they determine who is scamming who is hard. I lost a dispute by one scammer on here for digital items. 4 negatives wow. Listia should have had common since by what i sold to know that i am legit. How can i lose a dispute with over 1000 items sold and no negatives. Listia really need to work on that.

Yup. Complain about it. Make noise I do. Every time. I don’t let them get away with anything. they have like maybe three mods to handle all of the disputes on Listia. And they obviously don’t even read the correspondence and often make stupid decisions. Probably because they don’t have enough time.

I take it right up the chain of command. That usually gets results. I feel bad for the mods really. It makes them look so foolish and incompetent.

You can still bid in INK even if the listing you are bidding on is in credits. Listia will convert ink to credits when you bid on a credit listing.

18 days from now it won't be a problem. All of the credit listings will be gone ... so it will be a lot less confusing!

That is great! I haven't listed anything since Wednesday in INK except one ETH listing that sold. My listings ending in credits are still doing well ... I wish I had more of them running before the INK conversion! Oh well ... ☺

yes and i believe at the start of XNK people will probabily pay a lot especially listed in XNK with no knowledge of what that is credits seen some bought for over 100k per dollar.

I think on LIstia people will be pretty savvy about buying and selling. That is one of the benefits of INK ... it levels the playing field. INK has a specific value, credits never really did. INK is WORTH something ... credits really had no value.

So I think you'll start to see listings here buying and selling based on the dollar value of INK ... which will change. But everyone has the same chance to calculate how much they are paying, or getting as a seller ... because INK is easier to understand than credits were.

So my feeling things like gift cards will be an exact match to what INK is trading for, once the trading settles in.

Gift cards and ETH/BTC/LTC listings will be the easiest methods to "cash out" INK on LIstia without going through the steps to send INK to an ether wallet and exchange it. Which most people will not want to do ... but is certainly possible for everyone. Not rocket science but such a NEW way of thinking it can be difficult to understand at first.

ANd about the GIN in the rewards store found a link that their was GINs but the main reason they removed it was that it was bought so quickly and they could not keep on stocking it. As for gift cards hard to win it in the reward store now

Ryan. Please save some of your INK ... don't spend it all as fast as you can.

I have a little trick to reveal. Listia's valuation of $1=27,500 credits was completely arbitrary. Most people used gift-card prices to list/buy items on Listia. Which means the REAL-WORLD value of credits was closer to $1 = 100,000 to 130,000 credits, NOT 27,500.

THIS means Listia members who saved and converted credits got a GREAT deal for converting INK ... I hope people realize that. No one on Listia really paid 14 cents for ink.

So, in fact, on LIstia, IF YOU saved up some credits and CONVERTED them, you got INK for ☄ 5-7 cents ☄, NOT 14 cents.

This could be a VERY valuable gift. Try to save some INK ... I think the value will go up over time. Try to make more of it also ... here on LIstia.

On the exchanges. XNK is waffling around 9-10 cents today. That is a FINE price for what we really paid on LIstia. VERY fine ...but I think it will get even FINER ... ☺

Yes i want the whole market to benefit and not just a few buyers who buy. I noticed that their was very very few buyers who actually pay those high prices and that why they were like that priced low means more people are interested.

Oh yes, with INK people will be MUCH more aware of the value of an item. With credits most people based their buying and pricing on what gift cards were selling for. That's what I always did. Listia's valuation of $1`=27,000 credits was completely arbitrary. HOWeVER it was a GREAT deal for converting INK ... I hope people realize that. No one on Listia really paid 14 cents for ink. By my estimation it is about half of that. Because credits weren't really worth as much as $1=27,000. ... it was closer to $1 for 100,000-130,000 credits in reality.

So, in fact, on LIstia, IF YOU saved up some credits and CONVERTED them, you got INK for about ☄ half- or one-third the price ☄ of the presale buyers. SWEET eh?

So I don't wanna hear any complaints about the price on the exchanges. XNK is waffling around 9-10 cents today. That is a FINE price for what we really paid on LIstia. VERY fine ... ☺

yes i think i should test the market. True people can pay any price for an item if it is listed long enough but do people prefer that i know i dont. I always like quick sales and not take forever to sell.
Mar 1st, 2018 at 12:59:47 PM PST by

That is the goal. If it is priced right it will sell fast usually!

My ipad sold tonight and I only have a few more days of credit-based listings running. So i'm still taking a vacation from listings and working on my strategy for INK at the moment. I do plan to cash some of it out but am waiting for the market to settle. But I'll have plenty remaining to shop on Listia ... with credits they always burned a hole in my pocket!

I've seen lots of new and interesting listings ... it is STILL a great time to shop on Listia, that's for sure!

when listing relist or maybe those are old ones idk. XNK is staying around 9 or 10 cents as i been seeing. Not even breaking .14 cents. Hope it can get to like .25+ cents per INK that will be great.
Mar 1st, 2018 at 12:47:27 PM PST by
Original
Yup. I don’t know how auto relisting will work. I don’t do that. When I manually relisted an ETH listing it left the credits field blank and I had to put in ink.

I don’t think we should worry about the price of ink on the exchanges. It is typical for presale investors to dump so that is what happening. The Listia team and partners can NOT dump because they have vesting schedules.

Actually I’m very pleased that XNK has stayed above 9 cents and is inching up. This means me no one is willing to sell for less. Most presale investors didn’t actually pay 14 cents for XNK. They got up to a 30 percent bonus during the presale. If they used ETH that they bought at $500-$700 a few months ago selling at 9-10 cents IS a profit for them-like double what they paid. So they are cashing out their overhead. Which is normal and expected.

yes they should be but i am keep on noticing that they are relisting with credits when someone have it enabled on their listed listia should be relisting them in XNK odd.

Who is listing with credits? Listia? I looked at that this morning and I think those are old listings set up before yesterday. But I could be wrong. My brain feels like mashed potatoes and my eyes like dried little raisins. Sorry. I’m not usually a complainer. ☺️

yes think it will settle down. Dont make sense to pay over 100k per dollar for a gift card.
Mar 1st, 2018 at 11:18:42 AM PST by

Yup. It’s very confusing that listings still exist in credits. I thought they would all convert. But by 20 more days from now all credit listings will be done. Working those numbers is very easy to make mistakes. I’m waiting for my brain freeze to go away before I list more stuff. I spent so much time on Listia for the past four weeks I really overdid it. Every time I look at Listia I just wanna take a nap. Need a little vacay ....

already won about 65 dollar worth of gift cards from listia thinking about relisting them for 60k per dollar. 70k is not working great for me so maybe i have to try 60k per dollar and see how fast in can sell.

Is anyone else listing Amazon gift cards? I haven't looked.

Keep in mind that you can ONLY list in INK now ... IMO we will see an entirely new pattern emerge with gift card prices. Ink is trading closer to 10 cents this morning and that might change today. Keep in mind that our INK "cost" 14 cents in credits (which is not really true since the "value" of credits was completely arbitrary) but people will probably be more cognizant of INK values when bidding/buying gift cards. With gift cards being the ONLY way to really cash out with credits, gift cards were very inflated on LIstia.

With INK, gift cards might be much more closely tied to either LIstia's 14-cent evaluation of INK, or what INK is trading for. I have no clue. I'll let you figure that out ... my brain is kinda bleeding from the crazy numbers games.

Things will settle out. THIS early days of INK might be a very good time to sell gift cards, ... so go for it and see what happens. Best of luck!

Yes ListiaRichard is always the fairest. The mods so scared they always go against me because most of the time they do if winner shows proof thats not real.
Feb 28th, 2018 at 6:22:37 PM PST by

That's not really my take on it, but I don't want to start on that discussion this early in the day because the "escrow/mediation" system in place does NOT work for digital items and the delays and confuscation makes me very angry. I think the mods TRY to be fair ... let me leave it at that.

☘️☘️☘️~INK happens at 9 am EST Wednesday! ~☘️☘️☘️
The INK contract address is available at this link:
https://medium.com/@PayWithInk/xnk-token-distribution-and-ink-protocol-smart-contract-f8ba3da1e985

Remember Ink on LIstia is XNK on the exchanges.
You are adding a smart contract for XNK.
Do NOT add a contract for a currency called "INK" on the exchanges ... it is different.

You want XNK.

Add this contract to your MEW (or other ether wallet) and you should be able to send INK there tomorrow.
☄ ☄ ☄
DO NOT SEND XNK/ INK to coinbase ...
it will be GONE FOREVER and cannot be recovered!
☄ ☄ ☄
WOW ... I am SO excited and nervous ... anyone else out there want to SHARE my jitters???

Feb 28th, 2018 at 6:03:58 PM PST by

I agree they have the best intentions for sure. But I do think they need to clean up a lot of stuff here that has been neglected. Like the dispute system for digital items. The scams. Stuff like that. Listia will get a lot more complicated with ink. It's not a mom-and-pop shop any more!

Better for both buying and selling in the long run I hope!
Feb 28th, 2018 at 6:10:20 PM PST by

yes I think listia want to put a cap on 27500 credits per dollar thats what they aiming at. If it goes up you make money and down you not. Thats what their vision is i believe. I never remembered GINs before did they have it wondering why they took it away.
Feb 28th, 2018 at 5:49:57 PM PST by
Original
27,000 credits =$1 They did that years ago. It was completely arbitrary then and is now. But it works nicely for earning ink so I'm not complaining.

And yes this is the first time I've seen rewards listings with GINs. They must be testing the market or trying to get people to shift their thinking in terms of ink. I can't figure out the purpose of that setup.

Shifting to ink It's a challenge. Listia has been the same and pretty stale fora long time. Ink is waking this place up for sure!

Nice score! I bid on all their gift cards ending in credits based on what ink is worth but I think they will go higher than I bid. Lots of people still thinking in terms of past credit prices. So that is the type of thing I'm trying to wrap my head around.

Oh I see. Sorry. Head still fizzy. I did list an ink listing today. No fee for the gin setup. Maybe that is a temporary thing. One of my .005 ETH listings. Otherwise I'm just too brain wiped to set up new listings. Gotta be a little more careful about pricing and pay attention. I'm taking a little break from listing for a few days. Trying to figure out how these numbers are gonna wash.

your welcome and right now XNK is at 10 cents so going downing the first day.
Feb 28th, 2018 at 2:48:34 PM PST by

It was at 8 cents this morning. Got as high as 10 cents but settled at about 9 cents most of the afternoon. I still think it will go up once the initial presale buyers dump. That is pretty common with an ICO or IPO because they bought at a discount.

In the case of ink it was priced at $1,050 or thereabouts based on ETH value at the time of the sale but a lot of them were using ETH they only paid $500-$700 for. So they are still making a decent profit at 9 cents.

☄ WOW it's here! ☄
➜ Exchanged my credits to INK.
➜ Sent some INK to MEW.
FEE is 1.1 XNK regardless of how much you send. So I suggest you send a tiny amount first (maybe like 10 INK), be sure your wallet gets it (might take a few hours today, things are NUTS on the blockchain). After that, send as much as you can at one time. You pay 1.1 INK if you send 10 INK or 10,000.

➜ ➜ ➜The first step is to add the XNK token to your MEW. THEN you can send INK/XNK to MEW.

The token address is available on the New Currency links ... I don't want to post it here because Listia might change it (like they do with web sites posted in comments). You gotta get the contract address for yourself.
☘️ ☘️ ☘️
➜ I also got set up on IDEX to exchange INK for ETH but I'm waiting. I was actually tempted to buy XNK on IDEX but I gotta slow my roll ...lots of presale buyers are dumping INK right now so the price is only at about 10 cents. I think it will go up. I'm waiting.
➜ I can cash out at any time by sending XNK (from MEW) to IDEX and trading it for ETH. Then send the ETH to my coinbase wallet. IDEX fees are MUCH higher however. Again, the more you send at one time the lower the fee you pay as a percentage.

Voila!
⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️
I'm using ➜ bituniverse app on my phone and that's an easy way to see the $$$ value of INK ... on idex (computer only) it shows the ETH value of INK ... haven't figured out yet if I can change that to dollars ... a bit confusing but MUCH easier than I imagined!

☺ I'm pretty danged pumped.☺
☘️ ☘️ ☘️
If you jump in BE CAREFUL.
If you are watching the value of XNK on an exchange be AWARE of whether that is in ETH or dollars. I think it will MOST COMMONLY be in ETH. That's why I like the bituniverse app for watching the value of XNK in $$$ dollars.
