yes my hubby said it does work on laptops too i dont know why i was told it didnt but it does work on all computers and im giving it away because my son dont need it any more isn't that our business! i have a 100 percent seller rating !

Great Auction! I can assure this particular external HDD will work on all computers, both PC and laptop... and even Macs. If someone has issues, it could very well be the USB port they're using, or a minor driver issue. Other than that, it should work just fine. Fanned and Watching. Good Luck! ~JG~
