Let me see if I can help you understand a little, as I cannot look into the minds of listia and tell you why they changed it to XNK, I do have a little of an idea and understanding.
Listia has always been a give things away for free and bid on things for free, using these so called credits. They were not worth anything, only here in listia to bid on items. They have switched to cryptocurrency, so that a larger range of things can be done and used for with the XNK, now this is still in the very beginning, so it will take some time to get all the other outlets up and running, but business is still as usual here in listia, just look at it like a bathroom being remodeled, its going toi be hectic for a while, but you can still use the toilet, shower etc,which is the main thing. lol once it is completed it will be better than ever.
Everything is Basically the same. If you had credits or have credits you can still bid, even if an auction says XNK, it automatically converts it for you. which is great!! You can also convert your credits yourself to XNK top right corner of your desktop. ( let me know if you need help with that) eventually there will be an app, by listia, and other p[laced we can use our XNK. Hope this helps a little, dont be scared to bid, nothings changed, The price is going up and down of the XNK but it will balance out soon enough, listia has always been like this, kiind of like a stock market up and down, eve and flow. I was wondering if you might have any ear cuffs? Hard to find nice ones, and all the ones on here are from Hong Kong for some reason, and no one is bidding on them, so I am assuming they aren't so trustworthy? Hi Meg!! Thanks so much. Yes!!! I really do lol. I cant help myself , its my passion. I have had a few here and there, I might have one vintage sterling with a piece of turquoise. Not sure if I still have it, But that is the one that sticks out in my mind, I will look in my stash this AM, and let you know. also I am always buying in bulk, and that is how I get so much variety, so If I come across one in the future, I know who to look for. I appreciate you asking, I like when people request and ask if I have items, Most of the time I do. So I will get back to you on the ear cuff, once I search my stash(es) lol.
I love your drawings by the way, I am an Artist as well. I paint mostly with acrylics, but haven't in some time, been creating jewelry lately. But I have a little bit of that style you have ( NOt nearly as good as yours) and I just admire it dearly, I get lost in your art. You are very talented, I hope to bid and win one of your auctions.

To tell you the truth, I am honestly just happy if one of my pieces covers the price of a stamp haha. After that, I just see everything else as a pleasant surprise! :) I'm currently in med school studying for my boards so I am just sitting at a desk studying for 12 hrs everyday...the art cards/drawing are my creative outlet (and my stress relief because Lord knows I'm stressed! Haha!) So it's a win-win for everyone! :) I'm working on a few right now, so be sure to check back! I just got a set of even finer tip pens, so I'm really excited to put them to work! ;) Also, your profile picture always inspires me to draw something too! :D I actually make jewelry as well, but have zero time for that without feeling guilty about not studying haha.
