Description

The listing, *~MEGA 1000 STICKER LOT!~* (XNK CONVERSION GUIDE IN PHOTOS + DESCRIPTION!) has ended.

You heard right - ONE THOUSAND STICKERS!!!! Randomly chosen for your stickering pleasure - GO. WILD. :D

*Note: May not contain ALL stickers in initial posting - that's just to give you an idea of the variety I have! Everyday, I'll add a new photo revealing 100 stickers that will be included in lot! Fun, right?! Right. ;)

**BELOW: READ ONLY TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THIS XNK NONSENSE**

I included a quick XNK CONVERSION GUIDE in the photos for your reference!

It's important to note that this guide is based on Listia's initial $0.14 = 1 XNK. What's this mean for you? It means if you don't plan on cashing out, & are just planning to buy/sell on Listia, then that table should suffice since their "amount of credits per 1 XNK" is fixed. So stop reading now + go to that guide!

However, if you DO plan on cashing out, the market exchange rate at the time of this post (3/13 10am EST) is: $0.05 = 1 XNK.

So, what's THIS mean for you? It means you can still use my guide, but you need to replace "$0.14" with "$0.05", and that's how much I'd be getting if I cashed out TODAY. The problem is that the market changes everyday.

So how does this affect when you cash out? Everyday, the value/price of 1 XNK can either go up/down. If you wait, and it goes lower, the amount of USD you'll get if you cash out will be less. But if it goes up, you could potentially make way more USD.

To give you an example: If I cash out....

Today when: 1 XNK = $0.05
-20 XNK will give me $1.00 because:
(20 XNK) x ($0.05) = $1.00.

Tomorrow: 1 XNK = $2.00 (hypothetically)
-20 XNK will now give me $40.00 because:
(20 XNK) x ($2.00) = $40.00.

So basically, XNK is either an investment, or a gamble, depending on your point of view. If you resist cashing out, and the value of XNK increases, then so will your profit when you do eventually cash out.

Lots of math. Lots of words. I know. I hate it too. I just wanted to help you understand. Knowledge is power. And they suck at explaining this stuff on here.

Great auction!! Thank you for explaining the conversion, many buyers and sellers don't understand it. They also have a slight problem understanding the old credit system as it converts to XNK. I've seen a few sticker auctions asking for a GIN of 35,600 XNK (that's approximately 332 MILLION credit equivalent). Anyway, I'm definitely watching this one!!

Wow!! A friend referred me to your auction and that it explained things very well, which I agree totally it does! I'm on several sites and boards with people trying to figure all of this out. How you posted it makes a lot of sense. I've literally got my calculator permanently on my desk to figure it out, which I don't like as I like how it used to be easy and fun. Right now 1 XNK is .04. A lot different from 14 cents! I'm watching and bidding on your auction and referring a couple of my sticker freak friends too!!

I saved this information to my computer about the XNK/INK conversion as it makes the most sense of anything I've seen. I was wondering if it would be ok to copy portions of this into my auctions to help people understand? Thanks!

Thanks for bidding, and yes please refer your sticker freak friends - the more the merrier! I always have sticker auctions too since I too am a sticker freak! ;) And of course! I don't mind at all! I actually hope that everyone copies the info down if it helps them, or helps them help others! (It'll make all the hours it took me to research it worth it! Haha :P) And if you have anymore questions about it, please feel free to ask! If I can, I'll be happy to answer. :) Enjoy the sticker explosion! :)

Hi, I did refer my sticker freak friends LOL. Thanks for the ok to borrow your great info and yes, oh my I do imagine it took a long time to research all of that. I guess in reading this more carefully I see that there is a difference in AUCTION Prices versus CASH OUT prices? I've been going by the .04 rate in looking at and posting auctions (now .05 as of right this minute!).

But for example it shows a bid of 18 XNK on your auction as of right now. Does this mean the value is actually $2.52 (18 x .14) or is it actually showing a value of 9 cents!? (18 XNK x .05). Sorry I don't expect you to teach basic math, and I'm not looking to cash out but it would be sure nice to know the value of things in actual dollars. Thanks ever so much!

Just so you know, your XNK conversion isn't correct. 1 XNK = $0.05 right now.

Jillian (1 of 2) - Good morning! :) Haha no worries at all! Rereading my description, I can see your confusion. I said if you don't plan on cashing out, to go straight to my table and go by the "0.14" system because the credits to XNK ratio was fixed, thanks to Listia. What I should have included was that this applies ONLY to those of us still working with credits, and haven't converted them yet. At this point, the only time the "0.14" value comes into play, is in reference to credits. Listia keeps throwing that number around because it just wants to ensure everyone that NO MATTER if the market goes up or down, they are standing by the initial conversion rate they started with. (AKA: 1 XNK will always = 3850 credits) By doing this, it makes it so that there is no advantage to having credits over XNK or vice versa. Thus, people won't need to think twice about converting their credits. That's the ONLY significance to the value "0.14" at this time.

Jillian (2 of 2) - So...to directly (finally) address your question, you should price and bid on auctions using the most current market price. (So yeah, my auction is at like...50 cents right now haha!) The problem is: Not everyone else is. Thus, we see awesome auctions getting won for way less than they should. And on the flip side, we see auctions being either completely underpriced, or completely overpriced because either people don't care to take the time to understand OR they DO understand and are trying to take advantage of all the confusion to work in their favor. So the take away message: buy/sell on Listia with the market price of XNK in mind, but be prepared for a couple crappy winning bids. Writing in your description how things work can help your bidders bid intelligently. Will these crappy winning bids last forever? I think it's too soon to say. Right now, we can only take a chance and see what happens with the market. I'm naturally inclined to wait and just let my XNK build up. This "currency" is relatively new, & this drop in price we are seeing (0.05) is just due to that in my opinion. As XNK becomes more popular & accepted, the market should, in theory, pick up - so I'm waiting on that! :) (But take this last bit w/a grain of salt because that's only MY opinion. I am no wall street analyst haha) Hope this helps! Have a great day! :)

One more thing - to make things easier, when I'm browsing through auctions, I keep a window side by side with Listia, digitalcoinprice.com Makes it less painful that punching in equations everytime!
