The ring is cool lookin and my girl might want it for her septum though it looks like a 10g and i dont think she wants to go up that big from 14g. still a dope piece to have. INTERESTING!! Do you know if the ball comes off or how it comes apart? If the ball comes off it's called a Captive Bead brow/nipple/ear/lip ring...It almost looks like a 10 or 12 gauge since it's looks a little thicker like sirus1 noted---you may want to measure the diameter across in both inches and mm's to give a better idea of the size. You can measure the the width of the ring --
14 G = 1.22mm or 3/64", 12G = 2.0mm or 5/64", 10G = 2.4mm or 3/32",
8G = 3.2mm or 1/8"
