The listing, Turtle Beach Ear Force X31 Headset for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and more has ended.

This wireless headset is in great condition and retails on sites like Sears for $119.99 and Amazon for $99.99. It has only been used a couple of dozen times (we recently got a newer model cheap)

It can be used as a microphone when playing Xbox 360, and acts as a stereo headset for that, or other devices you hook it up to. For example, I set it up in my living room by hooking it up to my TV's audio outputs, and it played the sound for everything I had hooked up to the television: cable, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii - making this headset very versatile.

The microphone is much better than the standard ones found for the Xbox 360 and really does help when playing online shooters (Call of Duty, Gears of War, Battlefield, Mass Effect 3 - my son and I play all of these on our Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and it really does make a difference when you are hearing where the combat fire is coming from).

This auction comes with the headset, working batteries in it, the wireless transmitter, the audio cable that connects the microphone to the Xbox 360 controller and both the audio and USB cables needed to make it all work. I may even still have the instructions for it - if so I will include them as well. Shipping is free to the US but I will not ship internationally.

@Gunfreak80 - Not sure why you'd ask if it's fake or real, but it is real. I have a very high user rating on here :)

Also - Gunfreak80 - it is by default for the Xbox 360. That is the only system the microphone itself works for, but the actual headphones can be set up to get sound from a variety of sources - it just depends on what kind of set up you have.

@foxyfoxy888 - sure can. I'll post an updated pic or two a bit later tonight, that shouldn't be a problem.

That I haven't tried yet. The microphone would not work for computer. It uses RCA inputs (the red and white one-pronged audio cables). If you had an output from your computer like that it might work then, but it was definitely a set designed for game consoles/TV's

A quick examplefor everyone on how I had it set up in my house. My Xbox 360, PS3, cable DVR and Wii all run into our Television. Our TV has red/white RCA outputs. The wireless transmitter was hooked to those outputs on our television. The microphone only worked for Xbox 360 games, but all of our game consoles and cable could be heard through the headset itself.

It has a USB which handles the Xbox 360 microphone interaction/conversation. i do not know if that works with a PC or not. My initial guess would be no ,however since that part of the product is marketed specifically for Xbox 360

Just from looking at the product link that you provided, I have determined that it can work as stereo headphones fore a computer as long as your comp has a 3.5mm audio output and you have a double ended 3.5mm cord.

But, you will not be able to use the mike with that set up.
