Hello Listians! You are bidding on Like new in box Sony active computer speakers. These are pretty nice computer speakers that work great with your iPod, Zune or other MP3 player just as well as a computer. It has a front input to hook an additional device in which is great when they are hooked to your computer and you want to play music from your MP3 player. These do not come with the additional cable for the front input, it is "Sold Seperately" but does come with a built in cord to hook it to 1 device, so out of the box it is good to go. Also has an optional auto on mode which is great to hook your phone to as an alarm clock.

Yep as long as your laptop has a standard headphone jack. They can get pretty loud. The volume and power are on the side of the left speaker.

If you mean stereo sound then yes. There are two speakers which means left and right channels for stereo sound. If you are asking if this IS a stereo then no, these are speakers that plug into a device using a standard headphones jack.

They are good speakers but if you are going for studio speakers you may need something with much more specific tone clarity and true tone playback for things like mixing. These could work but if you are serious about home studio work I would recommend spending the money on true studio speakers. Do not get me wrong, these sound great but for something like recording playback for mixing and such it is worth the investment for the expensive studio ones.
